Midland Warriors
- Logo Design, Web Design, Development & Wordpress Integration.
Design and development of the logo and web site for a Birmingham-based internet marketing group, created on the WarriorForum. The site uses Wordpress to facilitate easy content creation & editing, and we continue to advise on the social media marketing strategy.
Logo Design
The logo design needed to follow the colour scheme of the WarriorForum, so it could easily be identified as an unofficial local group, whose members are primarily from the forums.

Web Site Design
The web site design focused on the primary objectives established during our research stage:
- Promote the Midland Warrior group,
- Provide details on group meetups,
- Provide related articles on Internet Marketing and web development for the community.
With the above in mind, the site was designed to provide quick and easy access to key information. Details of the next event are prominently displayed on the home page, with clear navigation allowing site visitors to find out more about the group, and read the related articles.

Web Site Development
Wordpress was chosen for this project, so members of the group could easily create and edit the upcoming event details and articles.
As with all of our web sites, the design was coded in XHTML and CSS, using progressive enhancements in CSS and Javascript for newer web browsers, whilst ensuring legacy web browsers could still browse and view the web site’s information.
Social Media Strategy
The Social Media Strategy focused on the same 3 primary goals established during our research stage. To achieve these, the following methods were implemented:
- Articles
A blog style section of the Midland Warriors web site was set up to allow members to post related articles on Internet Marketing and web development. In turn, Wordpress Plugins are used to push these articles to Twitter and other social media sites. - WarriorForum
Most site visitors find the group via the WarriorForum’s associated local event section. Utilising this, updates are posted on the next event, and members individually contacted notifying them of upcoming events.
